Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of inventory management, transportation planning, and supply chain management. This role is crucial in ensuring that our warehouse runs efficiently, meets operational goals, and maintains high standards of safety, quality and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping, and receiving processes with tires.
• Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels.
• Oversee transportation planning to ensure timely delivery of tires while managing logistics efficiently.
• Coordinate with General Manager to streamline delivery processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Lead fleet management efforts, ensuring vehicles are maintained and operated safely.
• Utilize computer systems for tracking inventory and managing warehouse data.
• Prepare budgets for warehouse operations, monitoring expenses to stay within financial targets.
• Conduct demand planning to anticipate inventory needs based on sales forecasts for overseas shipments.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
• Train, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff to foster a productive and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role within logistics or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems.
• Strong budgeting skills with experience in financial oversight of warehouse operations.
• Ability to lead a team effectively while promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
