Position Overview: We are seeking passionate and dedicated volunteer ESL teachers to join our team. As a volunteer ESL teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of adult learners from diverse backgrounds. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective ESL lessons that cater to the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver ESL lessons to adult learners, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Assess students’ language proficiency and provide constructive feedback to support their progress.
• Develop and utilize teaching materials and resources that align with the curriculum and learning objectives.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to share best practices and improve the overall quality of the program.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.

Qualifications:

• Strong passion for teaching and helping others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in teaching ESL or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work with adult learners from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Commitment to volunteering for a minimum of [number] hours per week.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $1,000.00 per month
