Oversee for the daily operations, maintenance, and planning for the Clubs Voice and Unified Communications systems. Identify, develop, and maintain a portfolio of value adding services for voice and unified communications and research new communications technologies as needed. Responsible for cost effective management of the communication services at the club.

What you will do:

  • Provides leadership to the function and/or staff, ensuring proper staffing and training levels of all team members with a focus on development and building bench strength while also complying with appropriate professional standards, laws, regulations and operating within the Clubs mission, leadership values and the members interest.
  • Oversees daily activities of the telecommunications support staff, ensuring operational efficiency of the telephone systems, voice and data cabling, etc. Systems need to be designed to be scalable and highly available at all times, eliminating single points of failure. Triages system issues and provides timely resolutions. Escalates when needed. Responsible for overseeing and managing the research, design and implementation of new systems by maintaining knowledge and awareness of new developments in the Unified Communications market. Partners with various stakeholders within and across business lines to ensure successful launch. Maintain awareness of industry trends, changes and innovations.
  • Oversees telephony infrastructure upgrades including minimizing the risk of business disruption. Proactively identifies vulnerabilities within infrastructure and implements solutions. Ensures proper communications are in place to various stakeholders on upgrades and system features.
  • Develops project plans to support business line initiatives including branch moves, contact center support (Reporting, Call recording, Work Force Management, Microsoft Phone), as well as larger Club-wide initiatives such as Toll-free number procurement and management & cell phone management.
  • In partnership with Director, Networks and Telecommunications, reviews telecommunications vendor services and capital expenditures. Assists with the annual budget, and monitors actual expenditures. Assists in strategic and budgetary planning. Responsible for vendor management and involved in decisions regarding the use of internal vs. external resources.
  • Develops technical skills of Unified Communications group employees to optimize in-house expertise. Identifies training needs based upon acquisition of new technologies. Involved in hiring, personnel and salary actions.
  • Establishes performance goals and monitors staff progress, with a focus on Five Diamond Service.
  • Meets with business line leaders to ensure service levels are met and conduct testing to optimize system use and benefits.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education
Bachelor's Degree concentration in Information technology or related field Required

Experience

Experience in telecommunications/unified communications and systems project management Required and Management experience Required
