Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist with a strong background in Google Workplace administration* This position is for a 6-month contract, and you will be required to work on-site, providing full-time technical support and administration of Google Suite products for our client's internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of troubleshooting, user management, and the configuration of Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) tools, as well as general IT support expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical support related to Google Suite (Google Workspace) tools, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Meet, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets.
- Manage and maintain Google Workspace user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Google Suite-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and network issues to ensure smooth office operations.
- Assist with IT-related inquiries, escalating more complex issues to higher-tier support teams when necessary.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation and procedures for Google Suite administration and IT support.
- Ensure compliance with company policies related to data security, privacy, and IT operations.
- Train and assist end-users in maximizing their productivity using Google Suite tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Google Suite (Google Workspace) administration.
- Proven experience in technical support, troubleshooting, and user management.
- Solid understanding of user permissions, security settings, and data management within Google Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical staff.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work on-site full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional after-hours support as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with other cloud-based productivity tools and services.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Certified Administrator).
