Carolina Voltage is a commercial electrical service company based in Charlotte, NC. We currently have an opening for a Service Coordinator to assist with dispatching our technicians, scheduling jobs, and offering customer support for our clients. We are growing quickly and need someone with the ability to grow with us. As a service focused company, we are constantly managing different issues that will require flexibility, quick thinking, and someone who creates solutions for the complex industry we are in.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-centric individual to fill the role of Dispatch & Customer Service Representative. The selected candidate will be based in our Charlotte, NC office from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.

As the primary point of contact for Field Technicians, you will interact with customers, ensuring a thorough understanding of their service requirements. Your core responsibilities will encompass managing call scheduling and overseeing the Dispatch Board.

You will deliver exceptional service, resolve customer concerns, and maintain workflow for our technicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to grasp their needs and offer suitable scheduling options.
  • Coordinate appointments and monitor Technicians to optimize workflow.
  • Employ dispatching software and other tools to track job statuses and schedule appointments.
  • Prioritize incoming calls based on customer urgency.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Technicians, Office Management, and Field Managers to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer data, invoices, and general notes in our company database.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform general office tasks.

Requirements:

  • Preferred previous experience in customer service or a related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with dispatching software (Service Titan software preferred)
  • General computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities (Bilingual ability is a plus)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Meticulous with adept critical thinking skills.
  • Preferred ability to manage and maintain AR and AP in Service Titan
