Growing food distribution company seeks Manager with supply chain experience in the cold foods delivery industry. The Manager will oversee the day to day supply chain business needs supporting operation and management of produce consolidation centers nationwide in a manner consistent with service and financial and operational goals set for the entire scope of each site. They will also manage the proper administration of the operational plans designed and implemented for these sites respectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development and implementation of processes supporting our Supply Chain needs specific to produce consolidation sites. These include PO and inventory capacity levels ensuring service to our stores thru product delivery to our main hubs.
• Coordinates with other operational resources in the supply chain network developing the strategic and tactical metrics keeping capacity levels at proper WOS / percentages by site.
• Supports and manages supply chain PO impacts to inventory levels ensuring capacities are not exceeded due to poor processing and or planning.
• Using PO management tracking specific to domestic produce vendors, mixing center shipments, container Imports export and domestic shipments.
• Keeps track of financial reporting of cost per case / per load for multiple warehouses.
• Designs, creates, and implements impact planning to the supply chain network for specific or multiple warehouses as needed by using the various systemic sites, PCC Portal, Whse Portal, Gold, TMW and any other tracking metrics available.
• Build a world class supply chain team meeting transportation and warehouse needs.
• Able to negotiate, maintain communication and act as liaison between carriers, vendors and operations.
• Reviews PO / SKU records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures supporting capacity level expectations and any impacts in an effort to determine adequacy of stock levels.
• Manage 2-5 DC Managers who manage departmental supervisors, who in turn will supervise a total of 50-100 employees in the various departments; responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the supply chain network in support of multiple warehouses.
• Carry out directory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, designing and implementing management and operational procedures and general problem resolution.
