Avera is now hiring a Security Officer to work in our Behavioral Health Center facility!

Job Summary

Responsible to provide security for patients, employees, and visitors; protects hospital buildings, assets, and premises as assigned. Also provides traffic control and maintains parking lots and structures.

Education and/or Experience

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Work Schedule

• Friday & Saturday 7:00pm-7:00am and Sunday 7:00pm-5:00am
• 64-hours/2-weeks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $19.00 - $23.50 per hour
