The Regional Vice President of Sales in Puerto Rico serves as the official representative of Braxton Puerto Rico, a FACTS Education Solutions company, in a defined geographic territory, increasing the number of K-12 school relationships and revenue from school partners using the services provided by Braxton Puerto Rico.
  • Manage, service and grow partnerships especially related to Federal Title II - Professional Development, with individual schools and school systems, both public and nonpublic in a defined geographic region.
  • Assist in the fulfillment and delivery of Federal Title services as well as the collection and review of compliance documentation to ensure reimbursement of services provided.
  • Represent Braxton (a FACTS Education Services company) at industry association conventions, meetings, and gatherings at the direction of the Regional Manager of Sales in Puerto Rico.
  • Create, maintain and further high-level relationships within schools and/or school systems, both public and nonpublic.
  • Submit for approval and achieve, weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals and quotas.
  • Develop marketing and business development plans for the assigned geographic region.
  • Coordinate and conduct educational seminars for prospective schools and/or school systems, both public and non-public.
  • Work with the Regional Manager of Sales to ensure Braxton (a FACTS Education Services company) is consistently exceeding the service expectations of the school and /or school systems to serve, both public and nonpublic.
  • Maintain Braxton database for the assigned geographic region.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Education degree, Master's degree, or completed graduate courses in Education preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in non-public school administration (management may substitute).
  • Extensive experience managing multiple concurrent projects (up to 25) and moving all towards completion.

COMPETENCIES - SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in computer/internet technology, including use of data management, sales management, sales presentations, and Microsoft (Office Suite) applications.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and persuade nonpublic school leaders to purchase an intangible service offering.
  • Exceptional listening skills with the ability to formulate a response to prospect objections.
  • Ability to define prospect needs and respond quickly with solutions.
  • Professional and personable in both dress and speech.
  • Strong work ethic, values, and integrity.
  • Outgoing personality and willingness to make cold calls to set appointments.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation with the ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Ability to manage an expense account within defined parameters.
  • Commitment to community and/or service organizations and volunteerism.
