Now Hiring for: Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm
Salary Range: $17.00 to $20 DOE

POSITION SUMMARY: The Receptionist is responsible for operation of the switchboard and paging system. He/She answers all incoming calls, redirecting them as needed. The Receptionist greets visitors and gives directions to residents, visitors, and guests and supports clerical activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Receives and directs incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Puts customer service first: Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights.
  • Arranges conferences, appointments, and travel reservations.
  • Orders supplies in accordance with procedures and budget allocations.
  • Compiles reports and types general or technical material.
  • Maintains current list of residents by name and room number, list of telephone numbers for all personnel, list of department extensions, names of key personnel and their extensions,
  • Coordinates outgoing and incoming mail to Center.
  • Performs other duties as required

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school degree or Equivalent
  • This position requires that the employee is able to read, write, speak and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors at the work site when responding to their medical and physical needs.
