RCS-Associate PRN

Job Description

Overview

Areas to support: Frankfort, Avon, Carmel, Tipton, Fishers

Emergency Department: 6a-6p or 6p-6a; 7 days a week
Main (Outpatient) Registration: 5:30a-5:30p; M-F

Assisting patients with Self-Registration, completing patient registrations, directing patients to appropriate departments, resolving insurance alerts, cleaning/sanitizing registration area and self-registration kiosks

Must Haves:

Customer service, insurance experience (preferred), medical office experience (preferred)


At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle strongly preferred.
  • Requires working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance.
  • Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
