Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician with vaccination experience, is certified to provide COVID and Flu vaccines, to join our team in a fast-paced environment. This temporary position may lead to a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the pharmacist or provide COVID and flu vaccines at the pharmacy or at vaccine clinics.
  • Input data into pharmacy software to adjudicate vaccine claims.
  • Maintain vaccine inventory, safe handling of vaccines.
  • Assist with various aspects of preparing for vaccine clinics.
  • Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and adherence strategies.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to uphold pharmacy standards.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician providing vaccination.
  • Proper storage and maintenance of vaccines.
  • Proficiency in safety technique is essential for handling vaccines.
  • Interacting with and helping patients feel comfortable during the vaccination process.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $23.50 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
