Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.

Duties:
- Prepare medications by counting, pouring, weighing, measuring, and mixing pharmaceuticals
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
- Process prescriptions by retrieving orders, counting tablets, labeling bottles, and resolving any discrepancies
- Assist patients by answering questions, locating items or referring inquiries to the pharmacist
- Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy calculations
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician
- Experience in patient care and aseptic technique
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care
- Familiarity with critical care medication administration and IV infusion techniques
- Previous experience working in a hospital setting is preferred
