PAYROLL SERVICES COORDINATOR

Our Payroll Service Teams play a vital role in helping our clients streamline their payroll processes, minimize errors, and stay in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Our clients can focus ensure their employees are paid accurately and on time; while focusing on their core operations by leaving the complex payroll tasks to our team of experts. Payroll experience is not required for this role as we provide comprehensive and robust training!

You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the payroll process for clients. This includes working closely with a book of clients to understand their specific payroll needs and ensuring that all payroll tasks are completed accurately and on time including:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients regarding payroll-related questions and issues
  • Collecting and verifying employee time and attendance data, including reviewing timesheets and ensuring accuracy
  • Calculating employee pay, including any deductions or withholdings such as taxes, benefits, or garnishments
  • Issuing and distributing paychecks or processing direct deposit payments
  • Handling payroll taxes and filings, including federal, state, and local taxes
  • Providing detailed payroll reports to clients and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in order
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state labor laws and regulations


The base compensation for this position is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM

  • 4+ years of customer service experience (Banking and Financial services or related industries a plus!)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Confident in judgment and decision making.
  • Ability to find new ways to innovate processes and procedures to drive better internal and external client experiences.
  • Able to handle a constant flow of tasks and responsibilities without feeling overwhelmed. It's about embracing change and uncertainty, being quick to adapt, and maintaining a high level of productivity under tight deadlines.
