Job Title: Payroll Analyst

Duration: 6 Months (40hrs/week)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Onsite)

Pay rate:$46.42 hr. On W2

Job description:

• Audit individual employee pay records and reconcile totals by department, location, country, etc.
• Assist with payroll EIB loads and audits for each pay cycle
• Reconcile employee deductions and employer costs to third-party payments
• Understand all aspects of client pay cycle to effectively assist with project testing and end-to-end functionality
• Process new hires, terminations, and employee changes
• Serve as backup for other payroll team members
• Verifies compliance with various statutory payroll requirements
• Ensure direct deposit and tax details are established for employees
• Manage payroll tickets for the US and Canada
• Assist with external audits as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, HR, or another respective field; relevant experience (5+ years) may be considered.
• Experience processing payroll in medium-sized or larger organizations
• Experience in payroll compliance and or auditing with an entity with a federal government contract preferred
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and follow-through
• Attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well within tight deadlines
• Collaborative team player; ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Pro Certification a plus
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
