Job Description

Approved Site Services is looking for a Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher is responsible for the efficient delivery of service to our customers. The position will require the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain strict deadlines. The position will also require the ability to be flexible, detail-oriented, and have strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and direct calls to appropriate person
• Dispatch trucks and drivers using company software and systems
• Manage customer accounts by providing information and resolving issues
• Generate reports and prepare presentations
• Perform administrative tasks such as punch-out, punch-in, punch-out, help with tablets, data entry.
• Answer questions from customers about scheduling.
• Develop and maintain a timely customer service schedule
• Maintain records of customer complaints and provide appropriate information to managers
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Skills/Requirements

• Strong time management skills; ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
• Previous experience as a dispatcher or similar position and oil and gas field preferred but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
