Company Overview: Rubie's Costume Company, a leader in the Halloween and seasonal costume industry, is seeking a proactive and experienced Walmart and Sam's Account Manager to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: As the Walmart/ Sam's Account Manager, you will be the primary liaison and acting project manager for our Walmart/ Sam's account. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining strong relationships with the retailer, strategizing product placements, managing sales data analysis, and overseeing projects from conception to execution. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, detailed analytical skills, and strong project management capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and acting project manager for Walmart and Sam's Club, ensuring seamless communication and project flow.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with retail buying team, aiming to maximize business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities both in-aisle and in other categories.
  • Strategize and implement plans to introduce and promote new products in alignment with retailers' goals and seasonal campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with product development and marketing teams to customize offerings that meet all demographic and regional demands.
  • Coordinate logistics and supply chain efforts to guarantee timely product delivery and optimal inventory levels during peak seasons.
  • Prepare and present compelling presentations and sales pitches to all stakeholders.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics, adjusting strategies as needed to maintain competitive edge.
  • Manage all aspects of project timelines, deliverables, and team coordination to ensure project success and alignment with overall account goals.
  • Ability to engage in light physical activity during sampling time, including packing and unpacking items, setting up displays, and transporting samples to and from various locations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in national or key account management, preferably within the retail or consumer goods industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large accounts and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, capable of converting complex data into actionable business plans.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Effective project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Walmart's business model and operational specifics is highly advantageous.
