The Department of Music at Grand View University accepts applications for part-time music faculty. Duties may include private lesson instruction, leading music ensembles, or general education courses including music appreciation, fundamentals of music, and musics of the world.

We have an immediate need for a piano instructor.

We offer private instruction in:

Voice, Piano, Guitar, Brass, Woodwinds, Percussion, and Strings.

Previous teaching experience and relevant experience in subject are required. Ph.D. preferred, master’s degree and professional performance experience required. All applicants on file will be kept should needs in these areas arise.

In addition to a cover letter indicating what courses/instruments you wish to teach and vita/resume, please include transcripts (unofficial are satisfactory at this time), and three references.
