Locker Room Attendant – Part Time
Summary:
The Men’s Locker Room Attendant will work in the Golf wing of the Clubhouse. The attendant provides a welcoming environment to ensure member and guest satisfaction and an unparalleled experience during each visit.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work as directed to support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club
  • Provide excellent customer service to members and their guests
  • Assist with retrieving soiled golf shoes from members locker areas. Once the shoes are properly cleaned, deliver them back to the same members locker
  • Fulfill daily obligations including but not limited to: Folding and restocking towels, cleaning wet areas, and other janitorial duties
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs of all areas to assess cleanliness and address any spots that require additional cleaning
  • Report any failing mechanicals or broken equipment to the supervisor or manager
  • Assist Golf Services department during tournaments as needed
  • Review the event and tee sheets for the day and plan accordingly
  • Ensure cleaning solutions/chemicals are in proper container with labels
  • Report any lost and found items to supervisor or manager
  • Keep inventory of towels, toiletries, and paper supplies and restock as necessary
  • Return supplies and equipment to proper storage areas
  • Prepare coffee as needed throughout the day and provide beverage service from the bar
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be organized and have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to maintain a pleasant personality while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical requirements for this position are hearing, speaking, seeing, carrying, bending walking, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 35 pounds, and being able to stand for 4 to 8 hours, or the ability to accomplish the physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Must be able to communicate information as needed to external departments and team members
Education/Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a service/hospitality organization is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and able to obtain a alcohol pouring permit form the City of Johns Creek
  • Must be capable of working a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays according to the needs of the events taking place at the Club
