**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Biller, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely submission of medical claims to insurance companies and government programs. **Responsibilities:**

- Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies and government programs, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.

- Utilize medical coding and billing software to assign ICD-9 and CPT codes to patient diagnoses and treatments.

- Conduct thorough reviews of medical records and documents to ensure accurate billing and coding.

- Identify and resolve medical billing errors, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and billing files.

- Stay current with changes to medical billing codes, regulations, and policies.

- Collaborate with medical office staff to resolve billing and coding issues.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.

-Must be proficient in Microsoft excel with the ability to sort data , creade and edit formulas and work with large amounts of data in a spreadsheet.

- Experience in medical billing and coding, preferably with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding.

- Familiarity with medical office systems and software.

- Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with a focus on attention to detail.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

- Knowledge of medical billing and coding systems and software, including coding software and billing systems.
