Manager, Chief of Staff

The Chief of Staff Office functions in support of the 9000+ associate Tech organization. Our team partners across divisional Chiefs of Staff, Communications, HR, Finance, Workplace Solutions, Enterprise Supplier Management and our Tech Leadership team to enable our collective organizational goals.

The Tech COS Team is seeking a Manager to help support the broader Chief of Staff function. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and executing executive-level presentations & events, problem solving and critical thinking ability and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with Tech COS and teams across Tech to deliver on roadmap, owning and directing work across teams to ensure high quality, on time delivery

  • Helps to drive innovation in process and execution across our Tech COS portfolio

  • Creates executive-ready presentations and materials

  • Leads special projects autonomously and through partnership with cross functional teams

  • Lead CIO preparation across a myriad of internal and external forums including Board of Directors, Quarter Examiners Review (QER), Enterprise Programs Committee (EPC), Enterprise Risk Committee (ERC)

  • Own highly visible written communications including Tech Year End Memo

  • Create and manage effective, scalable processes to manage operating rhythms. Requires an ability to lead, influence and drive executional discipline and excellence.

  • Strategic thinking to re-imagine existing operations in order to drive towards more efficient & productive solutions, processes & outcomes

  • Develop relationships across the organization to be able to act as an informed and helpful sounding board and thought partner

  • Organizational agility to jump in and support high priority initiatives across Tech SLT & Tech COS team

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • At least 5 years of experience in Project Management, Process Management, or Agile Delivery

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA)

  • 4+ years of experience managing diverse operational functions including staffing, budgeting, executing high-level meetings and events

  • 2+ years of experience in IT development or support

  • 2+ years of experience as a Chief of Staff

  • 2+ years of experience working closely with executives

  • 2+ years of experience building strong partnerships with stakeholders across a variety of levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail
