**Starting Salary Range at $51,000/year + DOE and Bonus Opportunity**

Are you passionate about protecting assets and uncovering the truth? We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Investigator 1 to join our team. If you have a knack for investigating discrepancies, a background in loss prevention, and a commitment to reducing theft and risk, this is your chance to make a significant impact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Investigate reported or suspected loss as directed, documenting all findings in an organized manner
  • Support departmental goals of reduction in company shrink and exposure
  • Identify, document, and interview perpetrators of theft and dishonest, illegal, or harmful activities
  • Identify risk and exposure to loss and provide corrective measures by developing systems, processes, and competencies to prevent theft, risk, and exposure
  • Prepare and process proper documentation to successfully terminate, acquire restitution from, and/or prosecute employees who engage in dishonest, illegal, or harmful activities
  • Collaborate effectively with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies for the benefit of the company
  • Maintain competency in the use of all security equipment
  • Identify and report failures to follow company policies and procedures to the appropriate department
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must be willing to travel and be away from home. Overnight travel required for this position
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications: Education

  • Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school in a related field

Qualification: Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of loss prevention investigation experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • A track record of building relationships and influencing others to buy into vision or strategy
  • A record of anticipating customer needs and giving high priority to customer satisfaction and service
  • Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction
  • A pattern of identifying the root cause for issues and using effective problem-solving methods to arrive at the best resolution option
