Position Overview

The Lead Talent Development Partner is responsible for providing strategic oversight to ensure consistency, scalability and effectiveness of talent development programs that promote career growth. This role identifies gaps and uses internal and external resources to provide learning solutions that enhance individual and team performance. Partnering with leaders and key stakeholders, the Lead Talent Development partner uses expertise to address critical development needs that strengthen skills and competencies across the business.

This is a Madison-based position.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Partner and consult with key stakeholders, including senior and executive leadership, providing expert advice to identify performance gaps and deliver effective solutions that enhance behavior and achieve results.
  • Deliver learning experiences for individuals and leaders to strengthen skills and competencies that increase individual and team performance.
  • Provide strategic end-to-end management of existing talent development programs, leading small cross functional teams to assess, measure and implement continuous improvements.
  • Analyze data to support strategic execution of talent development programs and learning solutions that support the business.
  • Apply expertise in content curation to address complex learner needs by integrating resources into current talent development programs, enhancing accessibility and effectiveness.  
  • Lead group coaching and manage overall coaching program to strengthen coaching skills for leaders across the business.
  • Provide thought leadership, interpreting internal/external business challenges, and recommending strategic best practices to improve solutions, processes or services.
  • Manage and build strategic partnerships with external vendors to deliver appropriate solutions including courses, content and resources that address business needs and provide a strong ROI.
  • Educate and promote inclusion efforts through learning experiences and talent development programs. 
  • Provide experienced in-person and virtual facilitation, demonstrating situational adaptability and use of talent development frameworks and assessment tools (360 feedback, DISC, StrengthsFinder, etc.) to deliver scalable solutions that build high-performing teams.
  • Strong time management skills, including prioritization.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects/initiatives effectively or aptitude for managing multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong verbal communication and ability to collaborate cross functionally at all levels of the organization.

  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to work designated schedule.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to act with an inclusive mindset and model these behaviors for the organization. 
  • Ability to work on a computer and phone simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel 10% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Degree/General Education Degree and 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 7+ years in HR and/or Organizational Development/Learning and Development function, with demonstration of in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge, and increasing responsibility, exposure and scope.
  • 1+ years managing and leading large projects or teams.
  • Certification in StrengthsFinder, DISC or other relevant assessment tools or programs.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Organizational Behavior and/or Adult Learning/education.
  • Experience delivering Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging programs.
  • Expertise in adult learning and talent development methodologies, and implementation of creative and sustainable development solutions using learning technologies.
  • Coaching credential/certification.

Salary Range:

$109,000.00 - $174,000.00

 

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
