Since 1974, the Performance Kitchen and Home (PK&H) team has earned the reputation as some of the most knowledgeable and creative kitchen designers in the greater Philadelphia area.

We are currently seeking to hire an experienced kitchen designer to join our team at our Manayunk location.

Our preferred candidate will have strong sales and design experience who is comfortable with managing home-remodeling projects of various sizes.

Our designers consult with prospective clients and access their needs, create and present designs that meet the standards of PK&H, assist clients with cabinetry and product selections, and exceed customer expectations through excellent customer service and ongoing communication.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with prospective clients and follow up on leads
• Conduct site visits, take field measurements
• Understand/interpret floor plans
• Work closely with clients to design kitchens and bathrooms
• Produce designs utilizing Chief Architect
• Propose and close the sale
• Guide customers through product selections
• Order cabinetry, countertops and decorative materials as needed
• Prioritize and handle multiple projects at a time

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 2+ years designing kitchens and bathrooms
• Experience in cabinetry sales
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong planning and organization skills
• Experience designing with Chief Architect or a similar program
• Ability to travel to customer's home

Job Type: Full -time

Salary: Base Salary plus commission dependent on qualifications and experience

Work Location: Philadelphia (Manayunk), Pa

Work day /Hours: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (9am-5pm); Wednesday (9am-7pm) Saturday (10am-2pm)
