Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kaua‘i, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs, including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology. Its 18-bed emergency department serves as the island’s Primary Stroke Center. The medical center also has four birthing suites, seven intensive care beds and 20 same-day surgery beds. Wilcox is the first American College of Surgeons-verified Level III Trauma Center in the state of Hawai‘i. At Wilcox Memorial Hospital, we offer the latest technological diagnosing and testing services so that patients can obtain the most accurate information about their health and our medical staff can design the best treatment plans. Our MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) department handles the complex process of creating two-dimensional images of soft tissues and cells in the body. The MRI team is composed of technical and medical professionals who ensure that this powerful diagnostic tool and state-of-the-art machinery is employed in a way that helps patients feel relaxed and cared for.
If you are technically gifted and detail oriented, you could help the Imaging Services department provide the highest quality diagnostic technology and service to our patients and their families as our next Imaging Services Technician. In this role, you will provide technical support to imaging services programs as needed and defined by department staff. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to carry out tasks with minimal supervision and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year medical experience. Previous experience in radiology.
