Summary

ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages, LLC is seeking to hire an HR Generalist whose work will have an emphasis on employee relations and safety. This position will also support the business by completing HR project work, contributing to HR strategy development, and supporting various areas of the HR department.

Responsibilities

  • Administer established HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with ACA, ADA, HIPAA, EEOC, OSHA, and other applicable laws and regulations in accordance with company policy, and best practices.
  • Foster positive working relationships between employees, supervisors and managers. Research and respond to employee concerns and questions. Conduct informal reviews and formal investigations as appropriate. Mediate and facilitate discussions to resolve conflicts and disputes between others.
  • Supports the HR Business Partner by providing HR counsel and advice on disciplinary actions, application of CBAs and company policy, and interactions with union personnel. Ensures that the HRBP and other senior leaders are aware of and informed in a timely manner of any unique or challenging employee and labor relations activities that may have an impact on staffing, productivity, quality, or workplace culture.
  • Participate in site/company safety initiatives and assist Safety Manager in ensuring compliance with company safety polices and practices.
  • Supports the planning and execution of HR projects, programs, and initiatives (i.e. performance management, benefits enrollment, talent management).
  • Other duties as assigned by Human Resources leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in HR generalist duties- Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of general HR practices
  • Proficient skills using HRIS technology including navigation, data changes, and reporting
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills needed to communicate with a wide span of audiences
  • Labor Relations experience preferred.
