The HR Assistant is a multi-role position in the Human Resource department.
Responsibilities will include recruiting, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, assisting employees with on-boarding and benefits coordination.
There will be a heavy focus on developing the companies staff past, present, and future.
During non-peak times other duties and office tasks maybe assigned.You will work on other various activities such as:
- Updating job descriptions
- Sourcing candidates via various recruiting methods
- Maintaining recruiting and assisting with onboarding process
- Screen incoming applicants, references, & Motor Vehicle Record
- Schedule interview with candidates for HR Generalist
- Act as a liaison between employees and HR Generalist
- Assisting employees with enrollment for benefits
- Assist with various end year benefits reporting and planning
- and more
Preferred Qualifications- REQUIRED: 2+ years of recruitment experience
- Strong computer and internet skills including MS Office
- Strong skills with phone, email, software in general
- Must be efficient and strong attention to detail
- Strong skills in organizing/planning
- Ability to prioritize tasks, exercise sound judgment
- Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
- Must be a self-starter and ability to work without supervision
- Ability to head up events and meetings without supervision
