Our work environment includes:
Duties:
-Clean lobby daily; polish, dust, sweep, mop
- Assist Chief Engineer in daily maintenance operations around the property.
- Clean and maintain common areas and other designated areas of the hotel.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Empty trash and replace garbage bags from landing areas, outside, pet areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
-Able to lift up to 50 pounds or more.
- Follow all safety procedures and guideline
Skills:
- Customer service: Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, ensuring their satisfaction
- Attention to detail: Thoroughly clean and inspect rooms to meet high standards of cleanliness
- Time management: Efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Physical stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
Please note that previous experience as a hotel houseman/breakfast is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
