Job Summary

We are seeking a Night Auditor to join our hospitality team for Friday & Saturday 11pm-7am. The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual who is committed to providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

- Conduct nightly audits of the hotel, including checking guest rooms, ensuring all doors and windows are locked, and performing a thorough check of the hotel's public areas.
- Monitor and respond to guest requests and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a fair and courteous manner.
- Manage and operate the hotel's phone systems, including taking and making calls, and responding to voicemails.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and a comfortable stay.
- Assist with front desk duties, including checking guests in and out, and handling cash and credit transactions.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of the hotel's services and amenities, and be able to provide detailed information to guests.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff members to ensure the hotel is running efficiently and effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in hospitality management or a related field.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication and phone etiquette skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and guest services.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to stand for long periods of time.
- Availability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and to uphold the hotel's high standards of customer service and hospitality.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
