What you can expect:

As a glass shop cutter, you will spend your time in our shop mainly cutting and polishing mirrors, cutting closet wire shelving, pulling hardware, shower doors, glass panels... This position supports our installers in making sure they have the material necessary for a successful installation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Handling glass product from, tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates
• Inspect Glass during cutting and polishing
• Cut wire shelving
• Load/unload glass manually or with equipment
• Properly dispose of broken glass and maintain your area clean
• Lend a hand as needed in other departments to ensure success daily
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• You will work closely with other people and will need a teamwork attitude
• Attention to detail is a must
• Manual lifting requirements 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• At least one year of previous work experience in a fast-paced warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility, preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, bend, twist, walk, and reach frequently
• Able to grip and carry thin material, such as glass with precaution
• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with the same climate conditions of the region in a non-climate-controlled facility (Heat, Cold, humidity, etc.)
