Job Oververview

The General Laborer performs a variety of tasks under close supervision of higher-level employees. These tasks may include assisting with extra workload, covering absences and vacations, and supplementing crews to meet unusual changes in the production area or in the weather. They provide support in whatever area they are needed. They will also follow the schedule that they are assigned, which includes weekends and holidays. Always keeping a work friendly environment welcoming for everyone.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Cleans and maintains GMPs and Safety standards as priority.

· Closely follows directions to load or unload product in assembly lines.

· Reports any issues to Line Lead or higher-level employee.

· Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring as shown by Line Lead or Supervisor.

· Palletize cases (with boxes of 5.5 lb. to 18 lb.)

· Learn about the correct label to be applied, and make sure it happens (correct SKU)

· Assist in replacing label, and ribbon.

· Load/unload or stack/unstack pans from production line.

· Load/unload oven and/or proof box.

· Cross trained to be able to assist with other positions in the plant.

· Back-up on absences in production or packaging positions.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· Closely follows recipes and production process as instructed.

· Must be able to read and follow written instructions.

· Read and Record Correct material numbers and lot numbers.

· Cross trained to assist with other positions in the plant including production or packaging positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
