Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety and hospitality, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both kitchen staff and servers. Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
• Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery.
• Help set up for banquets or special events as required.
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards during food handling and delivery.
• Collaborate with servers to enhance guest experience by providing attentive service.
• Support kitchen staff during busy periods by assisting with basic tasks as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus, though training will be provided.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are necessary for effective hospitality.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
