Job Summary
The FedEx Alternative Vehicle Program is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as delivery drivers. This role involves operating your personal vehicle to ensure timely and efficient delivery of packages. Candidates will be responsible for navigating various routes, managing deliveries, and maintaining the integrity of the packages while adhering to safety protocols. Local delivery area is Utica, New Hartford, and Clinton, NY.

Duties

• Operate your personal vehicle, for package delivery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load and unload packages.
• Handle lifting of packages, ensuring proper techniques are used to avoid injury.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transit.
• Scanners and GPS software provided.
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and recipients.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Report.
• 21 years of age.
• Passenger vehicle must be newer than 15 years old.
• Proof of valid Auto Insurance, NYSI, Registration.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
