Energy Account Specialist

As an Energy Account Specialist, you will be responsible for accounting transactions within our Energy department.

Job Summary:

• Perform all duties regarding post-delivery, direct ship/transport fuel or propane loads
• Receive inventory to correct locations using the Bill of Lading or vendor invoice
• Create invoices/bill customers for direct ship/transport products
• Work with dispatcher to keep records of shipments
• Distribute invoices and Bill of Lading to key accounts and national accounts
• Reconcile invoices and payments
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Accounting knowledge of AP and AR
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree with accounting coursework preferred
• At least three years of bookkeeping experience required
• Knowledge on energy products preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
