Tesla is in search for a Non CDL Certified Driver to work on one of the most progressive services for our world-renowned innovative company. The Driver is a key contributor in the Tesla experience as you will be the face of our distribution center.
What You’ll Do- Safely operate internal box truck (26’ or 14’) to transport vehicle parts between our distribution center, service centers and body shops
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while providing excellent customer service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and delivery paperwork
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness
- Ensure efficient loading and unloading of vehicle parts and safe securement of freights
- Maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate customer needs and varying delivery volumes
- Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns
- Valid driver's license with DOT Non CDL Certification and Medical Card
- Great work ethic & team player - levelheaded, detail oriented, safety contentious, courteous, flexible, punctual, and professional and customer focused
- Previous DOT Commercial Vehicle experience preferred
- Current DOT Physical Examination (medical card)
- Ability to maintain a clean driving record with a high level of safety awareness on the roadways
- Knowledge and adherence to federal motor carrier safety regulations / DOT guidelines
