We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Dispatch and Warehouse Foreman.

Job Description:

The Dispatch and Warehouse Foreman will play a crucial role in coordinating our moving operations and overseeing the daily activities in our warehouse. This position requires a dynamic individual who can effectively manage logistics, dispatch drivers, and ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispatch Duties:

• Coordinate and schedule daily moving jobs.
• Communicate with customers to confirm details and address any concerns.
• Assign and dispatch moving crews and drivers efficiently.
• Monitor job progress and address any issues that arise during the moving process.
• Maintain accurate records of moves and dispatch activities.

Warehouse Foreman Duties:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and organizing inventory.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels.
• Coordinate the preparation and loading of moving trucks.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
• Proven experience in dispatching, logistics, or warehouse management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
• Proficient in using dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Forklift certified
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
