A young person in Robbinsville, NJ, is seeking a Self-Directed Employee (SDE) to assist with various tasks that promote independence and community engagement. This role involves helping with daily living activities such as preparing dinner, assisting with laundry, supporting community outings, and helping the individual get ready for bed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare dinner and assist with meal planning.
• Assist with laundry and other household chores.
• Support the individual in accessing their community, including using public transportation like Access Link.
• Provide assistance with bedtime routines.
• Operate or learn to operate a Hoyer lift if needed.
• Additional duties as defined by the individual.

  Staff must remember that you are working for a person and not a label
  Must be 18 years old or older
  Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent
  Must have a car
  Must have valid driver's license and good driving record
  Must be willing to have a background check
  Must be willing to take a drug screening
  Must be authorized to legally work in the United States
• Experience with a Hoyer lift is preferred, or a willingness to learn.

Schedule of Services:

• Hours: 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
• Hours: 4:00 pm-11:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday
• Hours: 8:00 am- 8:00 pm Saturday and Sunday

Compensation:

• $23 per hour.
