Welcome to The Smile Effect by Brindis Prosthodontics LLC, a premier specialist practice in New Orleans, led by Dr. Marco Brindis and Dr. Tara Brindis. We are a close-knit, dedicated team who work harmoniously to create a positive workplace and experience for patients. We are looking for an organized and efficient dental assistant to partner with the doctors in the clinical setting.

At the Smile Effect, we treat complex dental situations. We use the latest in 3D imaging and digital scanning, providing the ultimate level of diagnosis and treatment planning. We work with the most skilled master ceramist for matching ceramics to natural teeth and create beautiful natural smiles. Our days are filled with prosthodontic procedures: rebuilding worn down or collapsed bites, cosmetic dentistry, single or multiple tooth implants and restorations, full or partial dentures, dentures with implants, crowns, veneers, bridges, replacement of missing bone and teeth following trauma or cancer surgery, TMJ orthotic splints, Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

Roles and responsibilities include assisting the dentists, precise communication with the administration team regarding clinical and laboratory workflow, infection control and sterilization procedures, taking 3-dimensional imaging, digital scanners and printers, laboratory tasks and tracking, keeping accurate notes.

Job Type: Full-time non-exempt at least 32 hours per week. Hourly pay: $16-22/hour depending on skills and value.

Other desirable skills and experience include:

· Clinical experience

· Dentrix software, DTX Studio, Intra-oral scanning, digital printing

Experience:

3+ years of dental experience are preferred; however exceptional candidates are considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
