Job Summary
As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers at the deli counter by providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli products such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
- Assist customers in selecting deli products and provide recommendations
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area
- Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations
- Assist in receiving and storing deli inventory
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the deli department

Skills
- Experience in food preparation and food service is preferred
- Proficiency in using cash registers and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling purposes
- Familiarity with quick-service fast food restaurant or café environments is a plus
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in a kitchen or retail setting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.66 - $14.93 per hour
