This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain / maintain a Secret Level DoD Security Clearance. This position is also contingent upon an award of contract.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage large data analysis projects with minimal oversight, ensuring successful execution and delivery of results.
• Serve as a recognized subject matter expert, providing specialized knowledge and insights to guide data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Analyze difficult and often complex data-related problems, developing innovative solutions to support business objectives and operational efficiency.
• Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level technical team members, fostering their development and ensuring high-quality output.
• Influence and shape organizational policies, practices, and procedures by providing data-driven recommendations and insights.
• Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets, applying your deep knowledge of the field.
• Apply your specialized expertise within your discipline to address specific challenges and opportunities, while also drawing on broad knowledge of related areas as needed.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project management, to ensure data analysis supports broader organizational goals and initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in data analysis, statistics, computer science, or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of years of experience in data analysis or a related field, with a proven track record of managing large and complex projects.
• An active DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.

• Deep knowledge of data analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies, typically obtained through advanced education combined with significant practical experience.

• Strong leadership abilities with experience in coaching and mentoring technical teams, as well as delegating tasks effectively.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex data challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others regarding policies and practices.
• Recognized as having a specialty within the data analysis discipline, with broad knowledge that may extend into project management.
• Travel up to 10% may be required.

Additional Desired Experience and Skills:

• Experience in a government or defense-related environment.
• Familiarity with government contracting processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in advanced data analysis software and tools, such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
• Knowledge of best practices in data governance and data quality management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

In compliance with local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $66,558.60 to $110,931.00; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
