Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Data Entry Clerk/Customer Service Representative to join our payroll team. This role will support payroll operations by entering and verifying employee data, managing payroll inquiries, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, payroll, or finance, along with excellent multitasking and communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry and Payroll Support:

· Enter and update employee payroll information in the payroll software system.

· Conduct research and assist with resolving payroll discrepancies and inquiries.

Payroll Inbox Management:

· Monitor and respond to emails in the payroll inbox in a timely manner.

· Ensure all inquiries are addressed accurately and efficiently.

· Provide high levels of customer service to staff.

Communication and Collaboration:

· Serve as a liaison between the payroll department and People Operations, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of payroll activities.

· Clearly communicate updates, discrepancies, or payroll adjustments to relevant stakeholders.

Project Management:

· Handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.

· Support special projects and initiatives related to payroll operations.

Payroll Processing:

· Assist in meeting weekly payroll processing deadlines.

Qualifications:

· Proficiency in general office systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

· Prior experience in payroll, accounting, or finance is highly desirable.

· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

· Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.

Background check will be conducted based on job responsibilities. The services CSC provides involve constant contact with the public in a dynamic environment, which requires heightened integrity. CSC employees may be called upon to protect and secure venue guests from harm, deal with at-risk and/or vulnerable guests, conduct bag and body searches, and to protect and secure personal items and property.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
