*Job Overview*

We are seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. Consider we are a Mexican restaurant and having a large Hispanic Community, so we would prefer bilingual but it's not a necessary requirement! The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service and cash handling, with a passion for providing exceptional service in a retail environment.

*Responsibilities*

- Greet customers and provide excellent service throughout their shopping experience

- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately

- Scan items, provide pricing information, and process payments

- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area

- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness

- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly

- Promote sales and special offers to customers

*Experience*

- Prior experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred

- Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling various payment methods

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively

- Basic math skills for calculating totals and providing change accurately

- Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus

- Ability to supervise or lead a team is beneficial

- Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 27 – 40 per week

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
