Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests during breakfast service, ensuring that all food and beverage offerings are presented beautifully and maintained at high standards of quality and safety. Your attention to detail and commitment to hospitality will enhance the guest experience in our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet with a variety of food items, ensuring freshness and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, serving stations, and dining areas.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and assisting them with their breakfast needs.
• Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems for any transactions related to breakfast items.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Prepare coffee and other beverages, ensuring quality and consistency in every cup served.
• Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
• Assist with catering services as needed, including setting up for special events or large groups.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding food supplies and guest requests.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries or concerns, demonstrating strong phone etiquette when necessary.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Strong cash handling skills are required for managing transactions.
• Ability to operate kitchen tools such as knives safely and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Experience as a delivery driver or in catering services is beneficial but not required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
