Job Overview
As a Bar Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient bar functionality. You will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining inventory, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of the bar's operations
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize bar profitability
- Train, schedule, and manage bar staff
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Create innovative drink menus and promotions to attract customers
- Oversee bar setup, including cleanliness and organization
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service management
- Proficiency in POS system
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management and food handling procedures
- Ability to budget effectively and control costs
- Excellent team management skills
- Experience in catering, bartending, coffee service, banquet operations is a plus
