Assembly and Marking
Job Title: Assembly/Marking FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Department: Distribution Reports To: QA/Distribution Manager
Salary Range: $17.00 - $22.72 Last Review Date: August 26, 2024
American International Tooling is actively hiring for an Assembly and Marking. We have experienced unprecedented growth and require qualified applicants. We are located in Minden, NV. This is a full-time, day-shift position generally working Monday-Friday from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
General Summary
Assemble and attach components and hardware in a prescribed manner using power or hand tools, testing devices, gauges, and other equipment to form complete units or sub-assemblies at a bench. Check for proper fit or adjustment and make necessary adjustments. Marking parts according to customer specifications using laser and/or dot pin marker.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Ensure parts are marked accurately and in a timely manner.
· Fill out all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
· Ensure all parts going to heat treat and coating are sorted in their correct trays.
· Weigh and load when parts are ready for heat treat and ensure shipping receives all job travelers.
· Performs sub-assemblies. Assembles outer rings into seaming roll. Selects matching outer rings, apply Loctite on the inner seaming bore and outside diameter of outer race. Ensure to use the correct press fit tooling prior to setup on ten-ton press.
· Performs final assembly. Assemble rolls with the correct bearing and/or pin according to the blueprint. Checks assemblies to ensure the assemblies meet customer specifications.
· Ensure parts are marked accurately and in a timely manner using a laser marker and dot pin marker.
· Will assist with inventory control.

Education and Experience
· High School diploma or GED
· Training in general industry safety.
